LaborForce Pro | Website

Building an entire brand

LaborForce Pro is a workforce software program that manages in home workers complex processes and documentation. While the current focus of the product aids in home healthcare works (for elderly and disabled) the brand takes a broader approach as the client wanted to be able to use the software for many different types of in home services. Because of this, my approach to building this brand was to create a unique visual identity that symbolized the busy and lively workforce.

Breaking down information

Because of the complex nature of the software created for LaborForce Pro, we knew the site would be content heavy. We also knew this information would be essential in bringing in new clients and being a resource for current in home workers. Because of this, I wanted the design to break down the information so that it was easy to digest visually and made was coherent while focusing on key features.

Site identity

The main competitors of our software focused primarily in healthcare services - most of these sites had a warm color schemes that utilized photos of helpers and the elderly. I wanted to push beyond theme and create a visual identity that was unique within this industry.

Using inspiration from the logos bee, I utilized hexagon shapes and bee paths to create a distinct online identity. The shapes help guide the users eye throughout the content while adding unique visual prospects throughout the journey on the site. My favorite example of this is featured on the “How It Works” page (featured below).

I also utilized these shapes for the sites illustrations, which you can see here.
