Mock Phase

My first step was to gather my own inspiration while referring to client inspiration and the established brand design. After, I created my mocks in XD for key pages. I started by working with the visual design on the landing page. From there, I incorporated design elements I developed from this section into different parts of the site.

As an illustrator, I also had the opportunity to work on several different custom illustrations for Health Heaven which were all drawn in ProCreate and/or Illustrator.

Build Phase

Health Haven wanted their site to built be built in SquareSpace so they could easily change content in the future and utilize their scheduling service.

Because of the unique nature of this service, Health Haven requires a bit of information from the user to get started to make the most of the initial consultation. The original flow included a long intake form from the user while signing up for the free consultation. After taking a in depth look of what that process would look like for a user, I aided to create an efficient and time saving user experience.

  • Breaking apart the form: Instead of having a long intake form that a user has to fill out before the free consultation, I worked with Health Haven to create a new list of questions that would be beneficial to the free consultation. We believed that this would give some insight to the type of experience they would receive and also help with not feeling as much pressure to fill out a long intake from.

  • Scheduling service: the best way to engage a user is to give them a simple way to be in charge. After doing research and collaborating with the Health Haven team, we decided to set up a scheduling service on the site that would allow users to pick days and times for their consultation.

During this build I had to teach myself how to use a new software (Scheduling Service) while utilizing my understanding HTML and CSS to build the site to completion.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to completely finish the build of this site due to circumstances out of my control, but you can see most of my work here!
